Primary concerns in Guðrún´s
art parctice are memories and perceptions; reliability of
information and our various ways of coping and making sense
of our existence. Her self generated work often takes the
form of immersive, multi-sensual environments that combine
found objects, photography, sound, light and even smell. A
delight in storytelling is evident in Guðrún´s
work, which spans from the personal to the
universal.
